We enrolled our two year old son in Grace's toddler program and enrolled him again for their three year old program. I believed everything was great until my son started telling us he was getting hit by kids in his class. Concerned, I approached his teachers about it and they responded at first by acting as though they had no idea there was a problem, then they asked me what I thought should be done about it and told me "it doesn't seem to upset him" and "he is not the only one being hit". I found this to be disturbing because they had no idea how to handle this situation and they falsely believed that this daily hitting was not having an effect on him. In addition, most parents of children in the class did not know there was any type of hitting going on. This only came to light because my son told me, thankfully he had the language skills to communicate this with me, otherwise I would have never known. Bullying is a problem that begins at an early age and because they do not have an effective anti-bullying policy in force I cannot recommend this school.
