Nike Tykes Pre-School

This is the most wonderful preschool I've seen. I've sent all three of my children there (each of them attended the 3 year old and 4 year old classes). You will not find a more nurturing environment for your preschooler. The teachers are wonderful and caring. They are very interested in the children and get to know each one individually. The children are brought outside nearly everyday even in winter provided the temp doesn't drop below 20degrees. They are encouraged to appreciate nature. There are songs and rhymes to go along with everything from learning the seasons and weather, to getting dressed for outdoor play and cleaning up. There is a multitude of different learning centers. The children do not have time to get bored from the moment they enter until they leave. They review letters, sounds, numbers, seasons, nationalities, celebrations, colors, shapes, syllabals, rhyming, etc. I couldn't have asked for more for my children. I just feel like Manchester should invest more money in the school to retain the great staff, and help the building maintain whatever it needs.

My daughter started in the 3-4 year old class. She loves the school and the teachers. She has made a lot of friends at the Nike Types Preschool and has grown up so much. Nike Tykes Preschool has a lot to offer the kids and their staff really cares. Nike Tykes Preschool in Manchester, CT is one of the best kept secrets around. Their Summer Camp program runs 9-12 or 12 -3 or full day 9-3 provided a great way to keep my daughter entertained the entire day. Also the cost was 1/2 of what sending her to day care would have been. My daughter will be attending the 4-5 year old class this coming year.
