A good school to nurture the curiosity of kids as well as prepare them for kindergarten. Hardworking and dedicated staff who not only train the kids on academics but also on life skills such as caring, showing empathy . I am glad I chose this school for my daughter.
I can't say enough good things about this school. Students are mixed, special needs and 'typically developing', and 3 & 4 year olds together. Our 'typically developing' son attended the full-time program for 2 years in 2005-2007. He was thoroughly prepared for kindergarten, yet never overworked or pressured. The kids learn through play, and the staff use the State of CT Preschool Curriculum Framework for assessment & mapping of progress throughout the year. Full-time and part-time teachers, paraprofessionals, interns and other staff provide for a hard to match ratio of staff to students. Meals are included for the full-time students. An excellent program with caring, dedicated staff and extremely competent leadership.
