I worked at this day care for a couple months. I was almost not hired because I was "too qualified", which to them meant I was Group Leader Qualified (centers are required to have some staff GL, but this center chooses to have the minimum to save cash) When my co-teacher BIT a one year old and I reported it, rather than the director taking proper action against her and reporting it to the state, she allowed her to stay on. For weeks I received not only harassment from staff at work, but also threatening phone calls from many of the staff's boyfriends (I even got a call from a jail cell) threatening me with physical harm if I "outworked his girl"' This center does not care about children, they care about the bottom dollar and hire terrible people. DONT ALLOW YOUR KIDS HERE

My daughter, Emma, went to Step-By-Step from an infant to 5 years old. I spent 9 months looking for a child care center and visited 15 centers before I chose one. I have been the Director of a Before and After School Program for 18 years so I knew exactly what I was looking for and found it at Step-By-Step. I chose to place my daughter in the private Kindergarten instead of her Elementary School (which I worked at). Even though it was a hard choice to make because the Kindergarten at her home school was also very strong I was so glad that I did. I felt that she got the attention, structure and one on one time that really pushed her to achieve at her highest level. She was spelling at a second grade level, her math and writing were also above grade level. I also feel that her success was from the strong foundation that was laid in the pre-school and pre-K programs at the center. The communication from the teacher and owners was exceptional. What I loved most about the center was the feeling of family, I felt that Emma was genuinely really loved and cared for there priceless!

I think this day care is the best choice for your kidos. The director is very nice and only hires the best people to take care of your children. I have know her since i went there my self and now have one kid there now. I would recomend this daycare to everyone I know
