Children's House is a gem in the heart of Fort Collins! Providing excellent curriculum as well as a community feel, I am happy to recommend CHMS over and over again! The owners, Mary and Betsy, are amazing and are excellent teachers. I could not be happier with the preschool experience that my children are receiving at Children's House.

Both our older daughter and now our son have attended Children's House. Our daughter was very well prepared for kindergarten. It is a quaint, clean, renovated older home environment (not state of the art, if that is what you are looking for) where they consistently introduce new concepts at an age appropriate level. The owner, Mary, is a jewel!

Actually the teacher to student ratio is 1 to 8 and they have a maximum of 24 students. All 3 teachers are AMS certified and the owner has 30+ years of experience. They have a beautiful and large playground with natural play structures. But, what my daughter loves the best is that they have lounge chairs, counters, toilets and towel racks that are at her level. As of Fall 09, they now have room for 7 more students. They offer full and 1/2 day morning or night as well as M-F, T Th, and MWF options. It's a home away from home and a great learning environment.
