My child is special needs and the people at the Vine Street location have been very good at communicating with me what they are doing in the classroom with my daughter and she is positively THRIVING in the environment. Unlike other reviewers who have said they saw the teachers NOT taking a proactive stance with teaching the children to not harm their fellows, I have seen that stance being shown. My child even came home with a list of "classroom rules" 1) We keep ourselves safe 2) We keep our friends safe 3) We keep our things safe 4) We do our best How is that set of rules NOT proactive teaching?

After initially loving this school and being excited for my son to be taught there. They would rather ignore than deal with problems. My son was being physically attacked by a couple of children there to the point where he would be filled with fear on having to go to school in the mornings. After discussing what he was telling us about hitting and other acts at school the teachers promised to follow through and never did. Not a phone call or change of plan within the classroom at all. After this I decided to sit in on a class to see for myself what was going on. Within 20 minutes I saw my son pushed hard with no recourse 3 times, another child s head slammed into a bookcase and another child hit and kick someone else. The teachers did next to nothing to prevent or deal with the children who were causing the issues. I spoke with the CEO and complained and she assured me she would hold a special meeting and require these teachers to go through more training and call me back with a plan for the school. She didn't and it has been 6 weeks. Run far from this place. They care more about fundraising than actually caring for the kids the funds are for.

Unfriendly people at the vine St desk when I tried calling to enroll my child, a month later I finally got confirmation that I can start my child and come get paper work. After I filled out paper work for them including DPP, Mievy and CPP they lost my copies twice. Most of the staff is caring and I loved the diversity but very very disappointed in the lack organization that dominoes from the top at Vine St to all the satellite classroom, on all the teachers and then the parents. The supervisors never had answers for my concerns, never got call backs from them about DPP and therapists including Early Child Specialist . I found out that some of the therapist were not even qualified to be working with my child. Wish I could believe in this program.

Best preschool environments I've ever encountered. I love the way this place is run, they don't cater to helicopter moms who think their children are perfect! The children are diverse - learning abilities, ethnically, and physically. The teachers are amazing - very caring, understand that each child is unique. There's an indoor gym and an outdoor playground. So if you're looking for a preschool that understands children and where your child will be accepted for who they are, this is the place for you. If you drink Starbucks everyday, drive a Tahoe or a Suburban, seriously, this place is not for you or your entitled spawn!

This school changed our child's life..and ours. The teachers take every child's individual needs into consideration and go above and beyond to support families and children. They are advocates, specialists and great teachers who understand, more than most, the needs of children. If your child is lucky enough to attend here, he or she will thrive and be well prepared for any school they attend in the future.
