Sunflower Pre-School

Excellent curriculum, and environment! Cons: Not for youngsters with even the mildest special needs! and the tschool opens at 8:30AM, closing at 3:30, and this is very strict. No before or aftercare options available, so unaccomodating to f/t working parents

Our daughter loves Sunflower and so do we. The teachers are creative and love what they do. It makes a difference. The themed curriculum that changes throughout the year keeps my daughter's attention and gets her excited about learning new things every day. I really like the science focus and all the time they get to spend outside.

Fantastic school! Attentive, kind, nurturing teachers. Very diverse students. Lots of real-life activities and outside play. Downside is they are a little more expensive and lunch is not provided...snacks are though.

This a great little preschool! Featuring a fantastic outdoor classroom & playground. Inside is a science room with all kinds of natural wonders to fascinate children including a real dinosaur fossilized egg (among many other things)! There is also a life skills room where students learn independence. A large room features several workstations and learning activities. Sunflower Preschool was started in 1981 and is located on Dartmouth in the Martin Acres Neighborhood - South Boulder. Parent involvement/ volunteering is encouraged, supported by the staff, and appreciated. Parents assist with field trips, reading stories and other activities.
