My two youngest daughters attended Parr Preschool during the 2008-2009 school year and both LOVED it. One is going on the kindergarten for the 2009-2010 year, but my youngest is looking forward to another great year at Parr. The teachers, staff, and directors are kid-centered and excellent. The rates are affordable. The curriculum is wonderful (play-based, child/peer driven). I have nothing but great things to say about this community school!
My son went to this school for a year and a half and we loved it. It was affordable and he learned so much there. I also did, once a month they had parent connection meetings where they would teach us about the development our preschoolers were going through. It was very interesting. Their curriculum was called Tools of the Mind, based on Vygotsky. My son learned the days of the week in such a fun way that he would just break out in song and ended up teaching his 2 year old sister! The administration is so helpful and friendly. When I toured the school, the assistant Director (now the Director) spent an hour with me answering all my questions and making me feel so very welcome. I would recommend this school to anyone, it was a wonderful place for our family!
