I have had the best experience at First Baptist Day school. The atmosphere is warm, loving and fun. The teachers are woderful. It is a happy place !
Wonderful experience for my child in their Kdg. program. The learning opportunities tremendous. Nurturing the whole child is a priority.
Child attended K, loved it. Curriculum works well for some students, but for those who need hands-on and phonic-oriented instruction, this is not the program. I thought by enrolling in private my child would excel beyond the public program, but ended up behind the public curriculum in some areas. K experience also lacks exposure to other cultures. There does not appear to be an in-depth understanding of the effects and special needs of teaching children from non-western or mixed cultural heritages. There is no second-language, music, or special physical activity courses. But, there's grass, the teachers are enthusiastic and very loving, and the office staff are simply wonderful to be around. Before enrolling, think carefully about the learning style of your child.
