I have been extremely satisfied with the care and education my son has received at this school. His teachers, particularly his lead teacher, are amazing. Very patient and loving, always working with the kids one-on-one, or reading to them. They have a wide variety of activities available to engage the kids. My son wakes up every day asking to go to school, he truly enjoys being there. I would not hesitate to recommend it to any parent. The owners have been nothing but friendly, loving, and very flexible with my son and my family. They know every parent and child by name, and go out of their way to make me feel valued. The cost is reasonable, similar to other schools that I saw. They do have a part-time option as well as full time. Full time is from 7 AM-6 PM, which is great for my schedule which varies from week to week. Even after 5 PM, the kids are still being read to or singing songs, they do not simply babysit the kids. The one issue that I do have is that the snacks they offer tend to be processed and I would definitely be willing to pay a bit more each month to ensure that fruit, cheese, other non-processed real food were served. Hopefully that will improve.
I have two children who have either completed or are in the program at Beach Cities CDC. What an incredible experience we have had with them. From the owners to the teachers and leaders at the school, we have been very impressed from day one. The personal care my children received, the caring enviornment and the high level of learning has prepared both my children for success. When my oldest finsihed Beach Cities and entered kindergarten, he brought with him a high level of skills, confidence and abilities. I know the care provided to him from when he began at 18 months old was the best and set him up for strong academic posibilities. The school does an excellent job of ensuring that they follow guidelines for future success. Could not give a stronger recommendation.
My son has been attending this preschool for a year and he loves it! The teachers are wonderful and the school is well organized. My son has learned so much and I feel that it's a safe and loving place for children.
i love this school from toddlers on up to kindergarten. They have a summer porgram right now that is absolutly amazing.
Our 5 year old is finishing her 3rd year at this school, and her little sister is right behind her just completing her 6th month. While no school is perfect, we have been amazed at the pace at which our girls have blossomed. They have learned so much, so quickly, and most of teachers over the years have been great.
The staff is warm and friendly but one of the owners is high strung and gets angry easily if you try to correct an issue or bring an issue to her attention.
They have a mission Statement like this 'Every child is a Star', also the facility is huge with well prepaired instructures.
My son has attended Beach Cities CDC since he was two years old, and I've seen him grow so much under the tutelage of the wonderful teachers he's had. I especially like the fact that Beach Cities is more academics-driven than most preschools. The Director is involved with every class, knows all the parents' names, and she loves the children as if they were her own. My son will attend Kindergarten soon and I feel that Beach Cities has more than prepared him for his journey through K-12. My 2 1/2 year old daughter started there when she was 18 months and I can already see that she will have a wonderful learning experience at Beach Cities.
Great school! Love the staff. They are very loving and helpull. My daugther has being going there since she was 2yrs old. They have an excellent program.
