my child attended from infant through pre-k the programming and daily structur is excellent pr-k is th best they have an outstanding male teacher, Mr........robert who exceeded all expectations and more than prepared my child for kindergarten!!!!!
After researching several different home and commercial daycare centers for our infant we decided on Discovery Isle. DI is out of the way for getting to and from work and it may be more expensive, but it's well worth it. DI has been the best decision we have made. The staff is very attentive, caring and nurturing; our son seems to love everyone of his teachers, as do we. They're all great at communicating the needs of our son and what is going on in the classroom. Not once has our son been crying when we've dropped him off or picked him up. I would strongly encourage others to look into Discovery Isle.
Our youngest child has been at this center for 2 years now. He is the baby of the family and we were very particular about his placement. I am so thankful we found Discovery Isle. His teachers/staff are outstanding. My son has a medical condition(asthma) that requires him to be given medication daily sometimes multiple doses in a day, they have always been very diligent and caring. Communication is great whether it be a bump or not napping that day. Our son is now entering 1st grade after completing both Pre-K and Kindergarten at DI. He looked forward to going each day and was cared for as though he was at home. Ms. Guerrero(K-teacher) is great. Ms.Carrie is always on the ball. There has been a lot of turnover in staff lately that I am not exactly crazy with. I would STRONGLY encourage you to tour, KUDOS DI!
My children started attending Discovery Isle in Temecula June of 2007 and finished up March of 2008. This is a wondeerful Child Development Center! The children's needs come first there! The teachers always communicated well with me. When my children got a bump on the playground or did a great job using the potty, they kept me informed. The Director of the center, Ms.Vanessa, and the Assistant Director, Ms.Carrie were very accommodating with all my schedule changes! I have grown to love and respect the staff at Discovery Isle immensely because of the high level of commitement to their children! We had such an amazing experience and I'm completely blessed to have had them in our life!
Attention to student's needs is of low quality. Teachers are very inattentive to the needs of students be it a child that is crying during sleep time is left to cry while the others were trying to get a nap. Teachers were very critical and condesending toward certain children. Sick policies are not enforced.Lack of structure and curriculum..curriculum displayed, but when called on it...it was not enforced or completed. Limited creative centers and activities, toys, and books. Facility boasts itself on viewing camera; but unfortuantely condesending statements and children crying are not viewed w/ frame by frame camera system.
