Both of my children have attended DeLor. My son attended from ages 3-5 and my daughter from ages 1 - 5 (she graduates in the Spring). They both have had wonderful experiences here. The teachers and staff are so warm and caring. In addition, the curriculum is superior to many preschools I've seen. DeLor has made my children more than ready for kindergarten and with a great feeling of confidence and security that comes from having learned in such a nurturing environment. I should also comment that DeLor is very good about allowing each student to work at a rate appropriate for their developmental level and will spend extra time as needed in various areas on order to prepare them for kindergarten. They also make learning fun and interesting to little ones, which fosters a real love of learning. Finally, the extracurricular programs available right on campus are very convenient and added a great sense of fun to my child's day.
My older kid went here from 10 month to 5 years old. My second one is currently in 18-24 month program. Great school for rounded education, not just academically focused. My older one was well prepared for Kindergarten after attending Delor. The teacher here are all very caring. Most have stayed with the school for a long time. Which is always a good sign.
[In] their 18mo-24mo room teachers are amazingly warm and affectionate. They give complete feedback about anything different in a day. If kid does not eat, they suggest reasons and ways to help out situation.
Not very happy with the infant room. Very little one on one interaction with the kids. Poor feedback to parents, incomplete and inconsistent feedback: No written records either. Irresponsible. Poor understanding of child psychology.
I really like the teachers and the environment they provide. Good overall learning experience, kids are very well behaved and learn good social and academic skills.
We've been very happy with delor. My older son flourished and my daughter is also doing extremely well. We highly recommend this school. While there is room for areas of improvement they pale in comparison to how bad we've seen things at other schools/camps.
Good tour of school. Good campus. Kids seem happy.
We are very happy with DeLor Montessori. They expect independence and focus from the 3-5yr olds but are still loving and supportive. Reading boxes and math concepts are presented to the children as they are ready, not just when they reach an age. They do not have homework. Summer program is wonderful.
My son went there for a years time. I had no problem what so ever with the school. Except for few minor behaviour problem in his older classroom. everything was great. the teachers, the director. They were very passionate to the kids and really cared for them.
Its a good school. My son was in there for a year and a half. He loves the teachers. I will definetly recomend this school for younger kids, they are very good.
