When My husband and I were looking at schools for our son, we wanted a focus on academics, so that he would be well prepared for kindergarten. Since attending Leap and Bound, our son can do math,;actually adding numbers through the touchpoint method, read, and write, all very well. I have seen a huge growth in his desire for learning, and believe that Leap and Bound has been the reason for that. There is a lot of homework though, usually 8-10 pages a week, which for us felt like a lot for a four year old. All in all, a great school if you are looking for an academic focus.

School management recently changed and, with it, their focus. They are much more concerned about providing a great educational experience for children and making it work for the parents. All teachers have advanced degrees which reduces accidents and discipline problems and increases the learning for every child.

There are too many reasons we love the school, the director and the teachers. They have flexible schedules, they are caring and considerate of the family's needs. Teachers are highly educated.

Owners are way too greedy. They don't care about the students. They talk high when you tour but the kids don't get to learn anything. Simi Valley branch is the worst.
