Both of my daughters attend Hillside and we couldn't be more happy with the school. From the infant room to the kindergarden curriculum, the school is phenomenol. It is child focused and the teacher involvement is unparalleled. The director knows each child personally and the curriculum is customized for each child, providing an exciting learning environment for the children. We look forward to watching our girls continue to grow at Hillside.
Hillside Montessori (one of two schools of Orange Country Montessori Schools | http://ocmontessorischools.com) offers the very best in true montessori education.
If we could give Hillside Montessori more than 5 stars we would. This is an absolutely spectacular school. The Director of the school is very active in the children's daily lives and education and is a wonderful role model for all the students. The entire teaching staff is kind, patient, firm and well educated. They will always make time to discuss the growth, concerns, successes, challenges, and progress of your child. We have watched my daughter go from a 3 year old toddler to a vibrant and intelligent 6 year old ready for the world! She now has a strong foundation based not only on academic skills, but also social skills, etiquette, confidence, self sufficiency and life skills. She made countless friends and has repeatedly asked to take the her teachers and friends with her to her new elementary school. Our daughter has thrived at Hillside and the school, teachers and director will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Our three children are kindergarten graduates of Hillside Montessori. Our twin sons started in the infant room. It has been such a joy to watch all three children grow in this nurturing environment. The quiet classrooms, individual attention, and play area with grass initially attracted us to the school. The teachers are extremely caring and they teach far more than the basic scholastics. It has been a delight to see the kids develop life skills, consideration for the environment, and an interest in learning more about other parts of the world. Our children have fond memories of the variety of school celebrations which brought the families together. We will truly miss having Hillside Montessori as part of our daily routine. Our daughter s overall score in the third grade standard tests was exceptional. We are sure her success was aided by the solid foundation that started at Hillside.
