Love this school> After carefully weighing the pros and cons of each local school on the PV Peninsula, our family chose the Co-Op. Our pro list: Located in Weymouth Corners in 1st Presbyterian Church cute, traditional, safe and secure. Teachers are personable and knowledgeable Miss Annamarie and Miss Becky have been there a long time and love what they do. Legacy Being around for 60 years, I have met many a person in the area that went to the Co-Op themselves and happily remember it. Varied experiences fieldtrips, painting, letters, counting, cooking and baking, social interactions, sculpting, organizing cleaning, speaking, character education. Parent participation lifelong friendships forged between participating families, respect for all children like they are all our own. Traditional fun homemade playdough, natural healthy snacks, group play, dress-up, games, and songs. Price wonderfully affordable. Our con list: None. After 2 years here, we made the right decision for our daughter. I highly recommend this school to everyone who wants to play an active role in their child s education.

This school is excellent & allows for parent child interaction as well as peer interaction for your preschooler on a daily basis. Your child will adapt to not only having to follow directions from you in a place other than home, but will also learn to follow direction from other parents & the teacher as well. This in my opinion, may better prepare the children for kindergarten when no parents are present & they are expected to follow directions from their new teacher alone. On a personal note from the perspective of my child, school is exciting each day. They love to play w/ everyone in their class; are learning the dynamics of friendship; are excited at every new accomplishment (baking, drawing, cutting with scissors, painting, etc) and is also extremely happy to know that I will be coming to school on my assigned days. The reason that my child is happy that I'm going to be at school with them isn't as much about having mommy with them for the day, as much as it is about them showing me how well they do in front of the class on "show and tell" day. It appears that we are not alone with this pride & excitement. I highly recommend San Pedro Co-Op for all of these reasons and more!

We were lucky enough to find this school after moving to the area last year. The teachers are top-notch and really set the tone for a positive, loving environment. My son is always excited to go to school. And while I m glad he enjoys the school, I m equally happy that he s learning some important social and academic skills that will serve him well in kindergarten.

I am a parent of a child that currently attends this preschool and of a child who attended three years ago. I have been very happy with the school's program and activities. My children have always been actively engaged in numerouse activities that have taught them valuable skills, social and educational, that prepared them for the kindergarten classroom. Plus, we have developed such a strong community of parents and families that we trust and have become very good friends with. A great place to be actively involved in your child's learning!

I am a parent of three boy's. So far two of them have attended the San-Pedro Co-op and unless I move very far away my third will also attend. I can't say enough about the importance of being actively engaged in your child's development while they are in school interacting with other children. It's an experience that my family I will cherish forever. When you leave your child at the co-op you can rest assured that your child is in a healthy, nurturing, educational environment. I personally feel that we need more pre-schools/nursery schools to adopt the co-op model. Learning should always be this fun! My family and I highly recommend this school. Thank you San Pedro-Co-op!!!!

My heart has been a part of this school since 2000 when my daughter attended there. This is a wonderful, warm, loving, and safe environment. I am so happy that we chose to send my son there after all of these years. The friends we've made will stay with us for always. This is my opportunity to share in the growth of my child, socially and academically. This is a school that provides me with the opportunity to be involved in my childs education and to grow with him.

It is hard to say who enjoyed this school more: me or my children! The kids had a great time singing, cooking, 'reading', building and pretending. I had a great time working with the other moms and I made some life-long friends. The staff was fabulous and loving and the tuition is reasonable. I recommend San Pedro Co-op to everyone! It is definitely worth your time to check it out.

My child has really enjoyed attending this preschool. There are so many different activities and games, it's a very safe environment, and the staff are wonderful. Though the school focuses on learning through play, my son has come away with a much greater interest in writing, spelling, and counting. I would definitely recommend this school to other parents.
