My third child is now attending this school and it has been an abolsute delight. My two children who attended the school were much better prepared for kindergarten than their peers. Found the school to be more well rounded, strong focus on both academic, social, and physical development. One reason I don't like the other schools that focus only on academic. Teachers are caring and focus on the individual child. The facility is amazing and state of the art, especially when compared to other preschools in the area. I do not agree with the other posts in this thread, but each is entitled to their own opinion. Having had 2 kids go through this school and seeing the proven results, my third is now in the program at the school. This school is highly recommended!!!
I totally agree with the other parent about writing skills. First of all if the teacher doesn't know how to talk to kids and write. I regret sending my kid to this school as well. Expect some of teachers to be totally rude.
My son went here for 2 1/2 years and we loved this school. They are organized, disciplined, yet very caring to the children. We were very sad when my son had to graduate from this school. Now our 2 year old daugher just started going there. We are very happy that our daughter is builiding her learning foundation here.
My son went to this school for over a year. I didn't have a good experience with this school for the following reasons: 1) The staff is rude, they are rude to the parents and the children. The children are herded around from one activity to the next, and spoken to in a way that's more rude than firm. I really did not like their tone, and I found several teachers and staff to be this way. It also seems to me that their disciplinary methods are punitive and not respectful of the child. 2) My son was taught to write alphabets here. Unfortunately he was taught the wrong way, and now it's a really difficult to get him to correct his writing. So now he hates writing and does it very poorly!
My child went there for two years. They were always very welcoming. They are also were very safety concious, which I really appreciated. However, I don't think that I would send my other children there. The school seemed to be more profit driven versus child or teacher driven. For example, during teacher appreciation they would have parents bring in gifts for the classroom rather than for the teachers to enjoy outside of school. Also, if you didn't fundraise for them then you would get a note asking for a donation. My breaking point came when I wanted to pull my child out before their July graduation and was told that my child couldn't participate because she was no longer going to be at the school. Talking to the administration seemed to always have been a waste of time since they always seemed to have a mindset.
My son is 2 and just started here in January. He absolutely loves it! It's a great introduction to 'school' with circle time, arts and crafts etc. His teachers are great. I am so happy to have him out of family daycare and in to this environment.
