Beresford Montessori

Beresford Montessori is absolutely amazing! Our daughter has been attending this school since she was 2.5 years old and she has thrived in the nurturing, attentive, and positive environment. The director, teachers, and program focus on every aspect of your child's development. We have been so happy here and are sad to move on to a different school in Kindergarten!

After having toured what seemed like every preschool in the bay area, we decided on Beresford Montessori. It has been one of the very best decisions EVER. The enviroment is nuturing but acadmically focused. The community of parents is involved and friendly. And the staff is in tune with the children and attentive to thier individual needs and growth. In addition, Spanish immersion in the afternoon (optional) is fantastic. Highly recommend this school.

My daughter has been attending this school since she was 2.5 yrs old. The staff are so skilled, nurturing, and responsive. My daughter has learned so much at Beresford and is well rounded now. The director is very organized and cares primarily about the children. She supervises and trains the staff on an ongoing basis and it's reflected. Ms Karina, the director, always has great parent info/training nights as well on various relevant topics. I'm highly recommend this school, but it's usually full so you have to enroll early on.

Our school is a hidden gem! The loving, warm nurturing teachers are gently exposing the children to Montessori learning materials and they are like sponges, there is huge respect for where each child is in his/her personal stage. The older children are so loving towards the younger ones. The director Karina has consistently placed the child at the center of the school operations and has shown incredible flexibility towards the parents. Because they learn to love learning, a lot of the children enjoy challenging themselves and they are so ahead academically and socially when they enter Kindergarten.

We had to move out of the area a couple of years ago so the amazing preschool experience at Beresford that our oldest child got to experience is not there for our youngest. If you are searching for the very best in nurturing the soul and mind of your little one Beresford Montessori is unparalleled at any preschool I have found before or since. The director and staff are loving and wise and know how to bring out the very best in each and every child. They foster a love of learning that goes with the child throughout their elementary school experience. They teach love of self and love of eachother. They develop the whole child in every way. My oldest child left Beresford above class level academically and even more importantly, with a deep love of his world and himself. I wish our youngest could go there!

We absolutely adore everything about Beresford, as do many other parents there. We applied to Beresford under the recommendation of a neighbor and were surprised by the extremely warm, capable and loving atmosphere. Our son and daughter couldn't be in a more nurturing environment. Highly recommended.
