Sand Tots Nursery School

Both of my kids, now ages 7 & 10, went through Sand Tots' program and I can see in them now as older children the positive influence and pillars of character that Sand Tots instilled in them. They acquired great tools & skills there, and transitioned seamlessly into kindergarten. Not only are they better for their years at ST, but I am also a better parent. It was such a dynamic community. I am grateful for the opportunity to have been involved on such a manageable level - you don't realize at the time how much you'll appreciate it later. The parental involvement is in no way overwhelming, and the easy, free access to all the parent education resources is invaluable. Great staff, great program, great start for your children! There is no other school out there like it.

By far the best parenting decision I have made. Nothing is more important than being involved in the early years of your kids development and this is the way to do it. The teachers are incredible, warm, and loving. You and your children will meet the most amazing families and feel so connected to your children and their friends. My only regret is that Sand Tots ends at nursery school because I will it continued on through elementary school.

We love Sand Tots! My son, a Sand Tots grad, is excelling in kindergarten and absolutely loves school. I credit Sand Tots for much of his love of learning. My daughter is currently enrolled at Sand Tots and would go to school every day if she could. I feel so lucky that I am able to share in their early education. I have learned so much working side-by-side with the amazing director and teachers. Sand Tots has made me a better parent!

Sand Tots has been an incredible experience for both of my daughters. This is our 4th year at the school and I am still learning. I actually find that I work less in the co-op than I do volunteering at my older daughter's elementary school. I cannot say enough positive things about the staff. Both of my girls have made good friends and so have I. It is the perfect place to start school.

This is my 3rd year at Sand Tots. It is a great environment for kids and I think for being a co-op doesn't require a lot from the parents. I think the parents enjoy being involved to keep the school the great community that it is. I do have 2 children currently enrolled so my required participation is a bit more than when only one of my children was enrolled. The director of the school is awesome and knows all of the children. She is always available for any questions or concerns that a parent may have. My kids love going to school and get upset on the days they have to miss due to illness. The teachers are extremely creative with the curriculum and activities that change often. I am very happy I found this gem of a school so my kids can be kids as long as possible. I have learned a lot as a parent as well.

Sand Tots has been a tremendous place to work for over 25 years. The staff and parents remain dedicated to providing children with a child centered learning experience in a warm family oriented environment. Parents are a part of their children's learning experience and the success of the school. It's been a joy to watching lifelong friendships being formed for children as well as parents.
