We looked at many schools before deciding, and after more than a year, we're still very happy with the choice we made. Leap & Bound (RB) is cleaner, brighter, and much better organized than the other places we considered, and we love that it's more than just a daycare as academics is a very important part of the day. Even the 2-3 year olds have "classes" like numbers, letters, and colors, and the older ones study reading, writing, and math. The teachers seem very dedicated to their work, and they've actually added some new ones to keep up with demand and to maintain their 12-to-1 ratio, i.e. no more than twelve students per teacher. Leap & Bound is a fairly new school, and I can see why they're getting busier, since they really do provide an excellent learning and growing environment.

My two sons love this school. My oldest is graduating this month after 3 years. I think the subject specific classrooms really helps them to 'dig in' to each subject. And the movement after 30 minutes helps them to refocus and get a little energy out. Plus their not stuck in the same classroom all day. Now for the really important stuff...The teachers are AMAZING and my sons are learning so much and having so much fun learning it. Yes this school is very focused on academics but it never feels stuffy or stringent. They learn while having fun. The projects that they use to teach are not just coloring or basic projects. They are hands on manipulative projects. I'm so comfortable leaving my kids in their capable hands. I'm truly grateful for this school and the dedication and inspiration that comes from these teachers! In the past 3 years the only issue that we've had with this school is teacher turnover. They let go of some amazing teachers but that is literally the only complaint that I have. In my opinion this is still the BEST pre-school in the area and my son is more than prepared for Kindergarten.

My child has been very happy at the school. She loves her teacher and they do a great job of keeping things interesting. Lots of special projects, field trips and exploratory fun. The curriculum is challenging and the kids develop strong reading and math skills. The one complaint that I would have is that the deposit structure is unreasonable and the owners are extremely rigid about it. Unwilling to work with the parents with any flexibility. An $1800 non-refundable deposit given a year in advance. I don't feel that there is any real collaboration with the owners and the parents. They hire great teachers though and that is the most important thing.

This school is amazing. The teacher are engergetic and dedicated, the really love the kids. The curriculum seems daunting at first but they do not limit the children. My daughter is reading and doing doind additions/subtraction. When I ask her what she did at school she say ' I played!' She enjoys it so much it never feels like work. That is exactly how it should be when you are 4.
