Village Nursery School

Our family loves the Village Church Nursery School! It is the perfect environment to nurture our 4 and 2 year old active boys. The Village offers a play-based program with some daily and weekly structured activities, such as music and Spanish. The 4-5 year old children are preparing for kindergarten with daily activities such as phonics, writing, counting, and using the calendar. Flexible schedules are offered for all the different age groups as early as 2 years old. Early drop-off and extended day options are available as needed, which comes in handy when plans suddenly change. We think that The Village is an excellent introduction to a positive first time school experience for our young children and us as parents.

Both of my boys attended the Village Preschool and the whole family could not have been happier! They learned so much through play, and both boys are well above grade level at their elementary school. Kudos to the Village Nursery School and staff for the little utopia they have created!

This school's 'reggio emilia' methods are superb. I wish there was a kindergarten with the same intentions. Allowing the children to explore subjects of their interests and fostering research and learning on these topics... they use a multitude of hands-on artistic tools. A perfect school for any child with a curious mind and parents who want more than construction paper cut outs.
