Cordova Baptist Preschool & Kindergarten

As a kindergarten teacher, I see children that arrive in my class from a number of area pre-schools. I can honestly say that the children arriving from Cordova Baptist Pre-school are consistently among the best prepared students that I have. In fact, that s the reason I chose to send my own sons to CBPK. They, too, have benefitted from the wonderful teachers and caring environment. My younger son and daughter both attended Cordova Baptist Preschool. I looked all over the area before finding it - and I knew I'd found the right one as soon as I walked in. The place has an air of kindness, goodness, and is entirely catered to capture a child's curiosity and willingness to learn. The teachers are dedicated and patient; Ms. Lois, an incredible director. Both of my children learned new things every day - this is NOT a daycare - it is a school. Of course, the children are allowed to have fun and be children - but learning is emphasized. We are not a religious family, but allowed my children to come here because it is simply an outstanding preschool run by loving, wonderful people.

I have been a childcare business owner myself and have had my children in a few different school/care settings and this school is HANDS DOWN THE BEST!!! They genuinely care about the children and families. This is evident EVERY DAY whether you drop in unexpectedly or are there at your 'scheduled time'. They get down to the children's level to ENGAGE with them. You will not find the teachers standing around talking to each other as I have found in so many other daycare/preschool settings. They are always active and engaged with the children. Academically, they are patient and gentle, but your children will be above grade level when they enter into public school in kindergarden or 1st grade. I can not say enough great things about this place. You will be hard pressed to find a more nurturing, loving , caring, disciplined, honest, integrity-filled place. Top notch!!!

My oldest son attended Cordova Baptist for both preschool and Kindergarten and was well prepared to move on to first grade at a private catholic school. My youngest son is currently attending preschool at Cordova Baptist and looks forward to going to school each and every day! All of the teachers at Cordova Baptist have been at the school for several years and provide an excellent education to the students in a loving/caring environment. Summer school is the topping on the cake as the kids learn how to swim. My boys were both 3 years old when they learned how to swim and by the end of the summer they could swim and jump off the diving board without support. What a relief this is to parents when you no longer have to worry about your child falling into a swimming pool and not knowing how to swim.

This is the best preschool & Kindergarden for our children. I am so lucky that I did find this school for my daughter. I wish if I had found this school earlier so my son could attend and obsorbed all the values of this school. All the teachers are very dedicated to the children. thank you..thank you very much.

My sister and brother attended this preschool 14 years ago and today my son now attends this same school. The director is the same woman who ran the school all those years ago. This is a wonderful, supportive, learning environment with dedicated teachers and staff. I am proud to say that I have known and admired the staff and school for all these years. I am proud to have my child attend this school.

This school can only be described as a hidden gem with a loyal following. Cordova Baptist nurtures a childs creative spirit, encourages a love of learning and exploration, and fosters character development in a safe and loving environment. The teachers are patient and skilled with all of the children. A nice bonus is the affordability of the school. With an orchard, garden, pool, and large play yard with significant shade trees you almost can't believe the value. Don't miss out on this school!

My son attends this school and my daughter did attend. This is a great school. It provides the children with a great beginning and a love for school. The teachers are the wonderful. All of the teachers are very dedicated to the children. From learning the basics to music, to growing vegetables in their garden, the children received a great education. This school is worth a look.

Our family cherishes the staff and family values taught at Cordova Baptist Preschool and Kindergarten. Cordova Baptist was recommended to us by several people, including two kindergarten teachers, and several Gold River families whose children attended the school twenty five years ago; this is a testament to the quality education children receive at Cordova Baptist! Our oldest child has since left the school, but now our three year old is enjoying the preschool program that not only includes traditional teaching, but gardening, swimming and too many other wonderful activities to list. We love the school. We would recommend it to any parent seeking a loving, nurturing, yet educational environment for their child.

My son goes to this school. It is a very good school with caring teachers, affordable tuition and they offer swimming lessons in their private pool during summer school.
