I'm a parent at this school since 2004, and I'm very pleased with the quality of their program. As an educator myself, I recognize the turnover as a part of life. The head teachers have always been excellent and all substitute teachers and/or new instructors are all so highly professional and nurturing, the schools must have an excellent training program, it really shows. Also, the administration is amazing, any time an issue may arise, no mater what the area, the administration is always prompt to help solve it as soon as it's brought up to their attention, they've always been quite receptive. My older son is now at a private school and is doing great thanks to the education he received there.
am very dissappointed with this school. I was a parent who had 2 children attend at different times and this last time was thankful my child was ready to move on to elementary school. The teachers were very nice and really cared for the children, however the administration was horrible. The good teachers were pulled to the main school and the substitute or new in training teachers were placed at our location. In addition social services visited the school a number of times. Now when parents went to talk to the administration about their concerns over the teachers being switched out almost every two months they were blown off. Lastly, the school held a contest to get teachers to come and make a positive comment about the school for their names to be placed into a contest for a paid early day off. There is not adequate security at this location and subpar to their main location in San Marino. I had the opportunity to get to know numerous parents and a large number changed schools or planned on changing. I loved the teachers, just felt they neglect this location, and the parents with it.
My son attended this school this last year and he loved it! The teachers were great with him- so loving and caring. They did a great job of controlling the classroom and getting all of the children involved in all of the activities. I also really liked the small atmosphere and the facilities. It has a nice small, intimate feel to it that I loved! I would definitely recommend this school to anyone looking for a great preschool for their child.
My daughter loves to go to Pasadena Montessori School. The classroom is clean and it looks safe. Her teachers are very sweet and my daughter loves them. This is my second year in this school and I totally recommend it. My daughter has learned so much and I really appreciate her teachers for such a wonderful work.
I have been a parent at this school for about 4 years now and in general am very pleased with the quality of their program. As an educator myself, I recognize the turnover as a part of life. I have had issues with several areas and have always brought it to their attention. I must say they have been receptive and addressed it. I dont know anything about the parent school but this one is cozy, the head teachers have always been excellent. I have been less pleased in the past with aides but recently the trend has improved. Ms. Ayanthi and Ms. Julietta are wonderful and loving teachers. My older son is now at a private school and is doing great thanks to the education he recieved here.
We only have our son here for three days a week for three hours, not the usual full day for most of the children here, it seems. The morning program from 9-12 is very good if the teacher Kate T.'Mrs. T' is there.
