La Petite Academy #1501

If not for the fact that I had to give this school a star, I would give this school a HUGE ZERO! The teacher's in the LAUP program are wonderful, but this school needs to rid itself of the unscrupulous Co-Director, that is currently on staff. My child was ban from her graduation the day before...why??? we as her parents spoke up about the bullying that was occurring at the school. I guess it is better to get rid of those that speak up, rather than fixing the problem. Word of advice to parents, do not enroll your child in this school or your child may come to you and tell you, they were told not to talk about school and what goes on. We still have not gotten back our medical info I provided to the school and NO, it is not okay to have the cook/bus driver check my child's blood sugar levels. Shame on La Petite Academy, my child now has to deal with PTSD for what you did not do when she was being bullied!!! If this review stops just one child from enrolling and getting bullied by another child and the Co-Director, my goal has actually helped someone's child from what we endured!

The staff is nice and the facilities are clean and an abundance of hands on things are available to the kids.

This is a very good school. Very clean, well maintained. Public schools in the area had a 31 to 1 teacher student ratio and this school had a 10 - 1 ration. Their program is also better then the local public schools. I felt this was the best choice for my daughter. Secure/Safe environment.
