Mountain Blvd Montessori School has been a wonderful for my two children. Unfortunately, as we are re-locating we had to say adieu. My family will miss the delicate balance that the school afforded my two boys. Just enough academics with just enough "being a kid". My wife and I could not ask for anything more. Both the staff and the directors are friendly, understanding, and accommodating. This is by far the best Montessori school in the Oakland area.

We love this school! Our son has attended for 2 years and thrives here. There s an excellent mix of kids, with lots of diversity in the student body and families. Not just racial diversity, but also social-economic, religious, family structure, etc. The parent involvement is high and the teachers are awesome! They have a fabulous play structure and a separate bike yard. There are several projects they do together like crafts and cooking projects. They also have computer class, Spanish and Chinese classes and tumbling/gymnastics. There is a lot of singing too! The kids are always learning new songs and putting on little performances. I also really like that the younger kids and the older kids get to hang out and interact during the day. Our son s 2 best friends are in the little kid room , but they get to hang out at different points in the day and play together.
