Monte Vista Presbyterian Preschool is an outstanding preschool. After touring other local preschools, I was referred on by neighbors to Monte Vista. Two of my children have attended and I could not have been any happier with our choice. From the Director, to the teachers and staff, the experience my children had was one that was filled with educational activities centered on their developing interest of the world. Everyone at Monte Vista takes a genuine interest in your child, so as to reinforce the concept that they play an important part in the day. Perhaps the best proof of Monte Vista s success could be found after attending my daughter s kindergarten-teacher conference. The teacher s first question for us was whether our daughter had attended Monte Vista. When we said yes, she explained that she could always tell which students had come from there because they exemplified compassion for their other students and were always a joy to have in her classroom.

Over the years, we had three of our children attend Monte Vista Preschool. In fact, when my wife and I were considering moving to Newbury Park, this preschool helped our decision in making the move. I was beginning my new job and we wanted a place that would work well for two of our chidlren that were preschool age. We eventually had our third child also attend. The teacher's, the facilities and the overall atmosphere all appealed to us as relatively new parents. Each of our children have done really well in elementary school in part because of their experience at this school.

MVPP is hands down the best so far. They are eductional but still allow them to be kids, create and grow. I feel they have a great balance of arts, structure, creative play and fellowship! Teachers and Director are thoughtful and caring. Overall a very well rounded school! Big Thumbs up!

all I can say is that my calls were not returned for weeks, the lady who gave us the tour was rude and carried a coffee cup with her the entire time (never even offered us any) the rooms looked outdated although the buildings were nice and on the newer side, the playground was baron and unappealing lacking the usual preschool feel with no shade and even less diversity and the children while using the bathrooms were not being observed directly by the staff but rather in the rooms unattended while the staff conversed amongst themselves in the hall...weird really weird... sadly this school appeared to be Presbyterian based to the exclusion of others and as my husband is of the Jewish faith this felt unwelcoming.
