It took me awhile to learn that all my preschool search checklists were useless. All I had to focus on was the fact that respectful adults create respectful children, and that only happy, loved children can learn. Academics are useless unless your child is happy. This is our second year at St. Timothy s, and what my daughter says very often is My teachers love me . This is the place where children misbehavior will try to be understood and resolved in a loving, knowledgeable way. My daughter was transformed from an insecure, quit child into the happy, smiling, giggling, self-confident girl. I know that it is hard to trust on-line reviews. If you doubt the sincerity of my words, all you need to do is visit the St. Timothy s website and look at the faces of the teachers. The first feeling you get while there, is the feeling you will get every time you visit St. Timothy s in person. If you do that, you will not make a mistake. St. Timothy s is a quality and not quantity oriented preschool, where children are really loved and cared for in a very special way.

We really enjoyed St Timothy's preschool and highly recommend it to other parents. My daughter had a great year here. She was quite a 'sensitive child' and struggled with separation anxiety at her previous preschool, but the teachers here were great at helping her through this, both encouraging me to stay for the first week, and also helping my daughter to adjust once I had to leave. The school is mostly play-based, but they also do lots of fun and educational projects - from cooking to art to writing their names. They also have a great outside play area, and this really helped my daughter's confidence on riding trikes, scooters etc.

We love this school. It is a very sweet, fun play-based school. The teachers, Mrs. Wooldridge, Mrs. O'Day and Mrs. Westgate are such wonderful people. My daughter went to Kindergarten well prepared academically and socially.
