Shepherd of the Valley School

This school is a decent christian school. Most of the staff exemplify Christian values. The activities and play areas were great. At Open house, we were shown exemplary PreK work of simple words and simple addition from students. We were quite impressed. The reality was my son never learned how to write letters. I asked, and they kept telling me it would happen later in the year. In the end, I taught him at home the summer before Kinder . Now he is excelling in his 1st grade class and winning honor awards.

I have been really happy with Shepherd of the Valley Pre-school. I am a Grandmother of a 2 year old just starting out in a Pre-school environment. It has been tough dealing with the new separation but the staff at Shepherd of the Valley School has been great both with myself and my grandson and making this new transition easy.

It is like a dream having our children at Shepherd of the Valley. The school is a community of caring people who will welcome your child with open arms. The class size ratio is supreme and the teachers and staff are amazing.

The small class size and caring teaching style at Shepherd of the Valley are a perfect fit for my active son. He comes home singing new songs, laughing and is always excited to run into classmates around town. He's already learning first grade skills with hands-on activities but without being graded. Every few weeks the school provides a special guest, pony rides, a mobile gymnastics program, pumpkin patch visit, or puppet show. I later found out many of my own elementary school teachers also sent their own children to this preschool. I've been very impressed with this school.
