My child has been at Danville Montessori School for the past 3 years. Due to the passion and dedication of the wonderful staff there, my child has been accepted into an elementary program where there is <15% acceptance rate. I cannot thank the teachers and directors enough for the progress my child has achieved. I recommend DMS to each and every parent I speak with. Thanks so much !

The best academic preschool in the Danville area. Our children were two grades above their age when they enrolled in elementary school. I am so happy that I made the best decision to enroll my kids Danville Montessori School. Keep up the good work, you are an asset to our community.

A stellar reputation, expressed commitment to Montessori standards and practices, and testimonials from past students and parents I spoke with drew me to this facility. However within weeks my child's enrollment there was huge staff turnover and, as the primary leadership became engaged in opening another facility, the remaining crew was quite young and clearly did not have enough experience or training to maintain the quality experience that served so many children well. The result was poor communication and a lack of respect for the methods that draw many parents to Montessori facilities. I certainly hope they can find their way back to a place that lives up to the reputation they once had, but we left seriously dissapointed by the inappropriate handling and treatment of my child, and ultimatly horrified and angered by actions and attitudes from staff that were at best immature. Our experience here was truly upsetting and thankfully our child has quickly rebounded and is experiencing much happiness and success at a different school.

We greatly appreciate the outstanding quality of education to our daughter, who went there for 2 years and became academically and emotionally ready for 1st grade study at her graduation. With the owners' extensive experiences from working previously in school district board, with their excellent help in providing us the exact CA education codes we should reference to persuade our local school district allowing our daughter to skip the kindergarten, our 5.5 years old daughter was finally approved to start her 1st grade study 3 mths ago. Because of receiving their excellent education in extensive subjects, our daughter continues excel in her 1st grade study now and rated excellent in all subjects including P.E., reading and math. Apart from providing extensive learning subjects like English, Spanish and Mandarin classes, geography, math, computer studies, with adequate teaching resources, the danville montessori and their staffs are capable of individualizing their curriculums and properly challenging students to their academic capable. In conclusion, we wholeheartedly recommend danville montessori to parents who want their children to receive their best early life education.

Our child is not enrolled here, but we did come here on a tour hoping to find a great, true-to-form Montessori. Our oldest was in Montessori before we moved to the Bay Area and we wanted the same for our youngest. What a disappointment this school was! Teachers were yelling, kids were on time-out in the teachers lounge (which is in the back corner of the building in the kitchen with no windows!!), the teachers looked irritated beyond words and were yawning, and the icing on the cake was when we were told by the director himself "this kids parents are divorcing", "this kids been kicked out of 3 schools". The stories went on. It was a total nightmare. There was constant trash talking about the neighboring school and the town of Danville too. I was speechless and shocked. We were never asked once about OUR child and what WE were looking for. If it wasn't for the fact that I wrote our childs name down, I know they wouldn't even know it. After 1.5 hours of listening to the director talk about himself and everyone else, we left. This is not a Montessori - this shouldn't even be an operating school.

This school has a well rounded curriculum and great, educated and well-trained teachers. The level of quality is completely unmatched because they are a small school (48 is max number I believe)...I am impressed that the children are exposed to so many different subjects like botany, zoology, geography, my child was always coming home teaching ME about new things he had learned. What I loved most was that they allow children to be children and never push them to learn too much. They truly let the children learn what they are interested in learning. I'm happy that I chose this school for my child and would recommend this school to anyone looking for quality, caring and passionate educators :)

This school is excellent in the vast sea of preschools in this area. The teachers truly care and respect the children and their individual learning abilities and personalities. It is impressive as a parent to walk in and see so many happy faces that are learning and progressing into little people. As a parent I would not recommend any other school. This school is special and it is one you need to see or atleast check out, if you want your child in a well rounded educational, fun, and happy enivronment to grow in.
