Moorpark College Child Development Center

We experienced very mixed feelings about this preschool. While the facility and playground are beautiful and clean, the teachers are not all good here. One nice feature is the viewing rooms for each class (so you can observe your child's interaction with the teacher, aids and other children). Be forewarned, some teachers aggressively label the children (typical the younger, active boys). The director is nice but uninvolved (dedicated to teaching her college students and no involvement with the preschool children and their families). In addition, many parents were uppity with (frankly) spoiled children. I think there are much more balanced preschool programs available in the area.

The best program around. My daughter attends here and I had searched for preschools for a year prior until I heard about this program. They are accredited, have wonderful ratios, the teachers take time to get to know the entire family and they have a superior curriculum by taking the time to know my child - highly recommend

The best Preschool in town. My son went to this school for 2 years. And he loves it. Teachers and staff are very helpful. teacher ratio is great.

Love this program and its staff! Both my daughter and son attended the toddler program (18mths to 3) and then moved on to the Preschool program at CDC. They both loved every day that they attended. The staff truely cares about the children and takes the time to really get to know each of them. They also hold their annual Discovery Day event which is an amazing day for the kids.
