I have had 2 girls go through the Pre K program and I cant believe how well they have done in Kindergarten. The teachers are dedicated, experienced and very in tune with the individual children. The administration works very hard to plan great events & maintain good relationships with the families. The school recently upgraded the playground & continues to make improvements as needed.
My son has been at Merryhill since he was 18months old, and he is due to turn 5 in January 2009. I have had mixed feelings in regard to this preschool. There are things that I love about the school (ie:some teachers, the school provided cook, the activities throughout the school year and summer) but there has been some things I do not like (ie: the lack of the teachers attentiveness when the children are playing outside or have freeplay time, some of the movies that the kids are alowed to watch, and the way some of the teachers speak to the children). I have been extremely impressed with a few of the teachers, Miss Kathy, Miss Paula, and the director Miss Sheila. The three of them are extremely caring and attentive to the students, and I feel from them that they really like their jobs and care for the children...
