Unfriendly teachers?! Is that parent one who wants the teacher to make over only their child? Remember why our kids are going to school...to be carried or to learn to walk by themselves. Sometimes teaching independence might look to the new parent as being unfriendly, but it is the most loving thing we can do for our kids. I am sending my second child to Day Star now with confidence that he is in the most loving environment I could find. Too bad you missed the point. Or was it that you were one of those parents that I see always talking to the teacher about the special treatment your child needs more than anyone else's. Don't misinterpret your child's teacher. Drop in and see why your son loves it. Maybe you missed something.
A small school, but my kid loves it. I wish the teachers were more friendly with the kids, but that is not a complaint.
