Glen Oaks Montessori School

My daughter has attended Glen Oaks Montessori for five months. She loves her two teachers, and has made friends with many of her classmates. This school is a traditional montessori school. The children are encouraged to learn independently. The teachers are incredibly patient and caring with the children. I have come into the classroom on several occasions and seen the way they treat the children and I am very impressed. They offer healthy snacks, and make sure that all the children are well taken care of. I have noticed a big difference in my daughter's attitude since she began school at Glen Oaks. She is well adapted to group settings now, and is very curious and eager to learn. I enjoy the feedback I receive from the teachers, the parent teacher conferences, and the monthly newsletters that are sent out to inform parents about the curriculum. My daughter will be more than ready to go to Kindergarten.

My son just graduate from Glen Oaks and we are very happy with the result. All teachers are highly trained, and there are two teachers( not assistant) in each classroom at ALL TIME. They offer healthy snakes on a daily basis and most important, class size are very small, which means my son will get the attention he needs. I truly believe you get what you paid for. This is absolutely a great school which provide high quality education. I would recommend it to anyone!

No dolls, no dressup, no non-educational toys, playground not worth mentioning. My daughter was there for a year and very unhappy. Since June she is at another school, loves it and what a difference!
