We are so lucky we found Footsteps! We moved from overseas and were worried we wouldn't find a pre-school we loved as much as we did at home. But we did and more. It is the perfect balance between learning and fun, the perfect balance for 3 - 5 year olds. My daughter learnt so much this year in a fun environment, which I think which is why she enjoyed learning it all. The teachers are amazing, and they work so well together and with all the kids. And you can tell that they really do love the kids and their school. If you are in the older class you get to go out on some fantastic field trips. My daughter always came back full of excitement and knowledge from these trips. They have varying themes through out the year, and the kids love it. She really did learn more than I could have hoped for. My daughter went for the full five days, and not once did she ever say she didn't want to go to school. To me, that is the ultimate praise for the school. She absolutely loved it, and now with the start of the school holidays, she keeps telling me how much she misses it. Can't get better than that!

I love my daughter's preschool. The teachers are very focused on the kids, there is excellent communication every day with what is happening during the day, how she ate, if she is struggling. The 'discipline' is about making the kids comfortable and getting on their level and finding out what the problem really is. The school is focused on a lifelong love of school, and so there is lots of playtime, some structured time to prepare the kids for kindergarten and a great deal of learning in every aspect, whether playing with blocks, walking to the mail box or sliding down the slides.
