My son has learned so much from the teachers at WorldSpeak, and we have been amazed by his newly acquired language skills in only 10 months spent at the school. I wish I had enrolled him sooner. The teachers and administration are super caring and personable. I felt totally comfortable leaving my son with them. After 3 months at WorldSpeak, he spontaneously conversed with us in Mandarin. He will ask us questions in Mandarin on his own and will certainly respond in Mandarin if asked in Mandarin. In fact, his Mandarin is now better than his older sister's. Our older child at one point could speak Mandarin reasonably well but lost most of her speaking ability after attending T-K and Kindergarten. We regret not having sent our daughter to WorldSpeak. WorldSpeak also provides English language, Math, Art & Music instructions so we are very happy with the well rounded nature of the program. My son learned how to play songs on the piano. I didn't even know he was learning until he showed me one day at home to my surprise. The facility is smaller than most other schools but certainly adequate. See my review Yelp! for more details

Good concept, poorly executed. We recently attended a birthday party where we met two other families who also tried WorldSpeak Preschool, and like us, had left for other preschools after a short trial. We all agreed that this school has great potential, but is poorly organized and administered. Our family's experience is that with multiple languages being taught, our child and others would sometimes float between teachers in various languages, and English was the common default language used by the teachers (not a true immersion program). After many months here, our child actually forgot most of the language skills that were established prior to enrollment. If you want your child to acquire dual or multi language skills, there are better options to consider around the West Los Angeles area.

Really great preschool! My daughter is 3 and we started when she was 20 months. She is immersed into three languages and she loves going to school every single day to see her friends and teachers. They have so many parties and fun events -it makes school even more fun. Curriculum is done very well.

I can't say enough GREAT things about WorldSpeak or the instructors there. My child is so well taken care of and so involved in learning - they make everything intersting and fun for all the children (just what learning shoudl be like) ... I feel like it was the best thing I ever did to enroll him at WorldSpeak. Thank you WorldSpeak!!!

We recently enrolled our daughter here after she expressed an interest in going to school. We toured most of the preschools in the area and this is the one we absolutely fell in love with. The instructor student ratio is quite nice ensuring she gets a good deal of personal instruction. Her English language has been blossoming and she is having a lot of fun with the other languages. This is our first child and we were very reluctant to send her off to school so we elected 3 half days a week for her. We couldn't be happier with this decision in seeing how much she loves it, and how much she is learning.

This is the only school I found where they teach multiple languages AND children are truly multicultural. They have French preschool group, Spanish, and little Chinese preschool group. Children are from different cultures too: there is a boy who is native Chinese, French girls, Arabic, Russian, Japanese, Spanish and they are all friends. My daughter has great friends there.

My son is currently enrolled and I couldn't be happier. He used to be at a more structured, large preschool but it was too strict and punitive and he came home tired and unhappy. This school feels more like a home, is loving, supportive and very child-focused. They err on the side of love and patience and the kids are all very close with each other. It is intimate and they are very flexible. I am very very happy with this school and would encourage you to check it out yourself. My son speaks both chinese and spanish.

I don't know who wrote the other review, but there is no parent involvement. Overall it is very expensive compared to other preschools, and detailed daily lesson plans and menus are provided intermittently (when you ask for it). Teachers rotate or quit regularly, as do the students. Nevertheless, my kid loved the school and the teachers, so I kept him there anyway.

Our son has been attending Worldspeak Preschool since the summer starting with 3 days a week and now at full 5 days/week. It is a language immersion preschool alternative wherein classes are taught in either spanish or chinese alternately. The teachers are native speakers with preschool teaching credentials. We enrolled our son there to expose him to different languages and did not expect him to be fluent in those languages. We were amazed at how he is now able to express and understand some words in both spanish and chinese! Afternoons are conducted in english. While still fairly new in the business, the families of the children who attend the school have a sense 'family' in that we communicate via emails, post notes and take suggestions for parent-teacher events. It does not have a huge roster (15 kids max) but they are 15 very well guided kids.
