Knox Presbyterian Church Nursery School

My 2.5 year old son has only been at this school for a few weeks and we love it. I have to admit that when I was making my decision, I was hesitant because it seemed like the school wasn't as new as some of the others I was considering. My most important concern was his well being (emotionally and physically) and the staff has made the transision from being with family full time to attending school easier for him and us. If you want a place that will truly care for your child, this school is perfect.

This preschool is wonderful. My daughter has wonderful memories and lasting friendships at this school. Although we have moved on to kindergarten, my daughter still asks to stop by to say "hi" to the staff as she truly enjoyed her time at the school. The curriculum prepared my child to pass with flying colors on all private school entrance exams. If you want a school focused on academic enrichment in a nuturing environment. This is the place to go!

We were referred by a family of wonderful children ranging from 13 - 4. Each child attended Knox and are doing very well. My daughter thrives at Knox. She has a great time learning and playing and learning through playing. The teachers are dedicated and will share with you how your child's day was. It is a very positive, loving atmosphere. The food provided is wholesome and nutritious with multiple servings of fruit and veggies at lunch and snack. Plus a weekly gymnastics course is included with tuition. The parents are also friendly and that made our initial transition pretty easy. We are often at a classmates birthday party or outing to a local museum, a classmates house or the park together. I also like that their uniforms are sweats - they are comfortable to play and be free. I say you can wait at least until 1st grade to have a formal uniform with skirts and slacks. The after school offerings are also very good. They include music, dance and science programs. I recommend at least visiting the school.
