Both of my children have gone to Hilltop and I could not be more satisfied with our choice. It's a small, intimate and amazing place full of thoughtful and engaged caregivers and a great, diverse parent community. As a co-op, the demands are high compared to other preschools, but the payoff -- in terms of connecting with other families, knowing what's happening with the school and the kids, and feeling like you're a part of something -- is worth it.

Hilltop is an amazing school and community. It is diverse, both economically and racially and fosters sharing and growing together. It is a mixed-age (2-5) developmental progressive pre-school that is located inside of a local public park. Parents own the school and some co-op weekly. It has a flexible schedule and helps families who cannot otherwise afford childcare. Hilltop has teachers that have been there over 20 years. It is not pretentious, and we have been lucky to be a part of it's community. Because the parents run the school, it requires involvement, but it makes the school what it is. My child has thrived here and we are thrilled to be giving her such a stable, fun, loving, supportive, and mixed environment.
