I absolutely love this preschool. The staff & teachers are AMAZING!!!! They are available, receptive, and genuinely care about their students. The classrooms are clean, the grounds are beautiful, & everyone is happy. Having my daughter at BAPP is a blessing. The sense community here is incredible...BAPP is like one big happy family!

We were a low income, scholarship family from the community (not the church) and felt completely welcome and supported by the director at BAPP who had been there for a long time. She helped foster relationships with the teachers and other families and called us personally to see how our son has progressed. I have had more a difficult time breaking into established social groups with other moms at the beginning around the school and that seems less "Christian" than what I see from the staff or what I saw from the director. By the way, I don't remember seeing any "celebrity" families- and if there were maybe only one, and this is a large school. So maybe other parents are the ones "intimidated" by this. But it is not the staff or the director. Regardless, preschool isn't about us as the parents, the program administration and the staff work very hard to treat every family and child equally regardless of their ethnicity or financial situation- which let's be honest, is very difficult in Los Angeles and especially in Bel Air. This is a wonderful school and I encourage you as a parent to check it out and to support the staff. You will only get out of it what you put into it.

We receive financial aid and have had a very positive experience over the last year with the director (now former director). We have not felt that excluded because of money or ethnicity- in fact quite the opposite. We have felt that she went out of her way to embrace us and make sure we were finding our way. It has been a little difficult to break into established social circles with other parents but this is Los Angeles and Bel Air (to that extent). If you are a parent give the school a break- get involved and make relationships yourself and stop complaining, gossiping and demanding. The staff was so over accomodating and I didn't see even one high-profile family that the director was dealing with. If families think the director/staff are catering to the wealthy- 1. this is LA- we are surrounded by weath and 2. Maybe it is YOU that is intimidated. This school treated everyone equally. If you aren't happy withthis school you won't be happy anywhere. Just wait until your child is elementary school. I give this school- teachers and administration a YES! T If you didn't see the director- it was because she was busy with all types of families- families like mine. Not just the rich!

I am shocked at some of these reviews. I searched high and low for a preschool for my son (ADHD) that would treat him as a wonderful child, not an annoying handful. BAPP was fantastic! I wish they had an elementary school as well - I hated to leave! His teachers were caring and attentive (We're still in contact with them) and the admin staff were easy to talk to, sweet, funny, available - you name it! The school has tons of outdoor play space (More than most) and for the older kids who stay for the full day, there are such things as gardening, yoga and Spanish. After looking at many schools on review websites, I find that you have to take reviews with a grain of salt - People are more likely to write a sour/negative review than a good one. Please don't overlook this wonderful school!

I had my son here for 1; yr. I found the director not available in mornings when i needed to talk. The teachers where ok, at times i was concerned on the yard the ratio was not safe.

Both of my children attended this preschool. It 's a wonderful loving environment that teaches through play and child-guided development. Highly recommend.

This is a great school. My daughter is five and this is her second and final year. The teachers last year completed two very detailed evaluation forms and shared them with us. The director is very knowledgable.
