I toured several schools and what I liked about A Child's Place was the warm, down to earth environment, the idea of the outdoor classroom, and how happy and loving the teachers seemed. My son started here a few months ago and he runs to the gate each morning and doesn't want to leave in the afternoon. The families are all friendly and down to earth and interact and hang out for a bit if possible when they pick up their children. The teachers are loving and warm.
We picked this school because it had the best outdoor area of all the schools we visited- large, messy, and full of nature to explore- very important for our son. The teachers are very dedicated and their play based philosophy is great. And the school is very supportive of working parents with good hours at a reasonable price. The one caveat- the administration is a bit oldschool which can be frustrating in an age of email.
Great teachers, beautiful space, and a loving environment. If you are looking for a play-based preschool, you will love A Child's Place.
Very safe, interactive outdoor classroom condusive to learning. Top notch.
