I am giving this preschool a below average grade because my older son attended this preschool and was not at all prepared for kindergarten. They taught him to write in all caps and did not teach the kids lower case letters. I thought that maybe it was just my son but when I spoke to other parents whose children were there at the same time they had the same story. The director changed between the first and second year that my son was there and I noticed a lot of less than positive changes at that point. The previous director, Jan was wonderful but I was not at all impressed with Maria the current director. Miss Jessie was a wonderful teacher for my son's first year in preschool, however, he did not have her the second year. I only wished that she was at a different preschool.
Discovery Prescool has been amazing! I'm sure that I could not have chosen a better start for my boys. The amout that they have learned is amazing. The great thing is the director and teachers have such a great imagination. The arts and crafts that I have brought home are beautiful. Its amazing to me how this school had made learning so fun!!!
