Not a good school whatsoever. My son started there when he was about 2.5. Coming from a day care I thought that more structure and a more stimulating learning environment would only help his progression with discipline and academics. Having heard of Tender Care and there affiliation with Wilders Academy, I thought it would be a good decision. I was wrong. My son came to TC well ahead of there seemingly out dated curriculum and through the year I felt as if his progress was stunted do to there pre-historic teaching methods. The staff has been there for a long time and it seems like they have lost there motivation and enthusiasm for teaching as well as adapting to change. I would not at all recommend sending your child to TC, I feel like me son has wasted a whole year of progress. Sincerly Jason G. Arnold

Horrible school the only good teachers that they had are nolonger there. I would Never ever place my child under the care of "tender care" if you decide to do a walk thru interview please ask them about the child that walked out of the front door bad was gone for an whole hr. Before anyone realized the child was gone.

My child attends Tender Care and has for the past 2.5 years. Tender Care has some wonderful teachers that really care about their students. Mrs. Rice is a great teacher who really loves her students and although stern, has their academic excellence as her top priority. I would recommend Tender Care as a Pre-school choice for a first school or a transitional school from day care to kindergarten.

My daughter attended Tender Care for 3 months. The administration is great with keeping you updated on your child progress. The front office staff was always warm and friendly and cetainly greeted you with a smile. But the teachers was a bit concerned. The teachers uses LOUD voices to get the kids to obey and follow instructions. The environment is very ridget and strict. My daughter teacher was good, but many times my child would be in the care of other teachers that showed a lack of nurture and care. My daughters easy going spirit was changing and she lack the desire to go to school and her spirit was broken. This lead to behavior problems --which lead me to homeschool and de-program her and build her self esteem again ....Not sure what happen or what change....but I was sadden that it did not work out. Parents should always observe their kids and drop in to ensure the environment matches your home life.......Good Luck

My son attends Tender Care and he loves his teacher, Ms. Howard. The staff and the onsite supervisor really care about the children. The emphasis is on academics but they incorporate music, dance, and play. My 10 year old daughter also attended between the ages of 2-5. Now, she's a volunteer!
