When it was time to enroll my son in a pre-school, I specifically looked for one that was accredited by the NAEYC. When I came across FCNS and learned that it was a parent participation school, I knew we had found the pre-school for us! I thoroughly enjoy working in the classroom and being directly involved in my son s pre-school experience. All the teachers are friendly and caring, and get very involved with the children, including getting down on the floor to facilitate the children s play skills and social interactions as well as creating games for them to play outside which engages their imagination. The teachers follow the children s lead and interests, always respecting their individuality. Frequent field trips are incorporated into the curriculum, including picking strawberries at the farm and visiting a fire station and post office, to provide real-world experiences. From working in the classroom, you really get to know the teachers and parents, which fosters a true feeling of community. While FCNS does take a commitment, it s definitely worth it. My son loves going to FCNS and we are looking forward to our younger son starting in the fall!

This school is a wonderful experience for both child and parents, in that it is a co-op, which really allows great interaction for both parents and children to enjoy the early school years before kindergarten. All of my kids have great memories of their preschool years, with the huge play yard, friendships, and most especially the kind and heartwarming teachers that made wanting to go to school so exciting and fun. Great stories, animated story-telling, field trips, family events, painting, art projects, science, all rolled up into a great school year. No wonder my kids love going to school! The school is Accredited by the NAEYC, with teachers who love what they do, and enjoy children. The school is also cleaner than most other preschools, as it is cleaned almost as much as 3 times a day, as it is sanitized regularly throughout the day, especially when it comes to the bathrooms! Other preschools have not been up to standards. Kids, parents, and staff make this school a wonderful place. Thanks FCNS!

We couldn't be happier with our decision on choosing this preschool for our daughter. It can be a bit overwhelming trying to decide which school is best for your child, this is the right decision. The parent participation at FCNS is what drew us to this school. The idea of going to school with your child, watching them thrive and learn, while working is my favorite part. The teachers are wonderful, our daughter loves hers. She comes home with the best art projects, we have a hard time deciding where to put them all. Truely, we couldn't be happier with our decision and look forward to sending our other children there.

Wonderful, warm, inviting school and staff. I couldn't ask for a better place for my daughter to spend her early years. I trust the staff and think the parent involvement is also very important and helpful in building a community.

Last year my son wanted NOTHING to do with preschool from a bad experience he had at another school. That is not the case this year with FCNS, he wakes up daily asking if it is a school day! His joy and love for school can't be contained this year!! At FCNS you are more than just monthly tuition, you become a part of a big extended family. Another positive about the school is the parent participation part of the program. There are always three other moms or dads working in the classroom with the teachers. I love working in the classroom and getting to know all of the kids and their families! One thing that FCNS offers, which many preschools in the area do not, is going to school on consecutive days. Many programs have the children go to school one day and then off the next. We like going three days in a row (and then having a longer weekend) as this prepares our son for the daily routine of kindergarten. The only bummer is that our son will start kindergarten next year and we won't be able to go here anymore! If you are looking for a great preschool, look no further, you have found it. Welcome Home!!

We have two children and have been attending FCNS for the past 3 years. We feel like all the teachers and families that attend the school are part of our extended family. Both are children love attending and ask daily if it is a "school day." The co-op environment is one of the things that drew us to the school--the ability to work in the classroom was a must when we were deciding on a preschool. We have enjoyed every minute we have spent at FNCS and will be truly sad when our time at the school comes to an end.

I found FCNS many years ago when my son was ready for preschool. Later his sister went there and now I'm on my 5th grandchild, with more to come... I LOVE everything about this co-op. I like knowing what goes on in the classroom... Working in the classroom allows you to see how all the children are treated, and when there is a concern the teachers are there for you to talk to. I LOVE FCNS!!

I am absolutely in love with this preschool and so glad I put my first born son in it. As a very protective parent, I was very concerned about the preschool I would end up putting my son in, but I was put to ease with the teachers at this school along with the co-op experience. Because it is a co-op preschool, it feels like a home like environment and is very welcoming. My son adapted to this school within the first day and he is anxiety free of school and loves going to school, which puts my anxieties at ease!! Such a great experience, I only wish it would go through the 12th grade!
