After having a baby, I gave a deposit to TutorTime for infant care. I thought that the state of the art facility and security cameras were indicators of quality care. On the Friday prior to week I was going back to work, I decided to stop in and spend some time with the teacher. In the hour that I was there, I witnessed her change a messy diaper and fail to wash her hands before feeding the child, drag a baby across the floor by his foot because she had 3 others crawling all over her and screaming for attention and force feed a baby an entire jar of food that she didn't want. She told me that she was afraid the child would not get a chance to eat later because she'll be going on her break. She actually asked me was if I wanted my baby to go to sleep on her stomach or back. I advised the director that I would never leave my child there and she said I could not get my $350.00 deposit back. I called Color Our World. When I met the girls who would be caring for my child and I was immediately put at ease. These women are so incredibly gentle and kind and the children are full of joy. It's been 4 months and I couldn't be happier. Oh, and it's $105 a week less than TutorTime.
