This a great school. My daughter went to Mt Olive and is now in Kindergarten. Mt Olive gave her a great foundation not only for learning but also in dealing with everyday kid stuff. She was able to be a kid and learn at the same time. Miss Chantel and Ms Michelle are so encouraging and the kids love them. My daughter could not wait to go to school every morning. There were fun activities and field trips too. Mt Olive feels like home. The teachers are great and really love what they do and have been there for several years. The rates were good and the class size lower than most which was great. They also offered a drop in program. We looked a few preschools in Folsom but are so glad we chose Mt Olive. My son will also be starting there in fall. I can't wait.
As a preschool teacher I have been to a number of local Folsom & EDH childcare centers/ preschools . I can truly say there is nothing like Mt Olive Preschool if you are looking for a wonderful Christian preschool . It is a hidden gem in Folsom, located between E. Natomas and E. Bidwell, off Montose. The preschool has been in operation for over 15 yrs. Although the exterior of the building is not the newest, the actual interior preschool and outdoor play area are nice, with a fun, warm and welcoming feel for young children. The age-appropriate preschool program is open to all (potty -trained) children 2-5 yrs old. For parents who work outside of the home, Mt Olive offers before and after preschool care from 7am -6pm, M-F. The staff welcomes visits w/tours and the preschool is reasonably priced for the area. It is well worth a visit.
We love Mt. Olive! With the endless choices of preschools in Folsom, picking a solid, Christian preschool was a breeze. The teachers really care about all the kids and are so creative and organized with the curriculum and classrooms. It has a more intimate feel so my kids love it and feel really welcome. Pretty reasonable tuition as well.
