My child has been at MCA for 2 years. We tried two other child care/preschool environments prior to MCA ( an "In Home" and a very large center) and have been very happy with our child's progress here. I have been an elementary school teacher for 10 years & have been inspired by the teachers & philosophies affiliated with MCA. Their regular, full-time teachers are their greatest asset. They have comprehensive, informative conferences twice a year. Field trips are fun & practical. School theme days & whole school performances are wonderful (concerts, Farm Day, etc). The price is steep, but I have found firsthand that-in this field-you get what you pay for. I also wish that they would hold on to their part-time employees longer. It seems that the "daycare" hour employees are on a revolving door. It is nice to have your children build a relationship with their caregivers-& while our has that with the teachers, I never see the same faces in there when I pick her up later in the day. They also offer a music class & a yoga class at extra cost. My child leaps out of bed on "yoga day"!!!!!
