Our child is not enrolled here, but we did come here on a tour hoping to find a great, true-to-form Montessori. Our oldest was in Montessori before we moved to the Bay Area and we wanted the same for our youngest. What a disappointment this school was! Teachers were yelling, kids were on time-out in the teachers lounge (which is in the back corner of the building in the kitchen with no windows!!), the teachers looked irritated beyond words and were yawning, and the icing on the cake was when we were told by the director himself "this kids parents are divorcing", "this kids been kicked out of 3 schools". The stories went on. It was a total nightmare. There was constant trash talking about the neighboring school and the town of Danville too. I was speechless and shocked. We were never asked once about OUR child and what WE were looking for. If it wasn't for the fact that I wrote our childs name down, I know they wouldn't even know it. After 1.5 hours of listening to the director talk about himself and everyone else, we left. This is not a Montessori - this shouldn't even be an operating school.

This school has a well rounded curriculum and great, educated and well-trained teachers. The level of quality is completely unmatched because they are a small school (48 is max number I believe)...I am impressed that the children are exposed to so many different subjects like botany, zoology, geography, my child was always coming home teaching ME about new things he had learned. What I loved most was that they allow children to be children and never push them to learn too much. They truly let the children learn what they are interested in learning. I'm happy that I chose this school for my child and would recommend this school to anyone looking for quality, caring and passionate educators :)

This school is excellent in the vast sea of preschools in this area. The teachers truly care and respect the children and their individual learning abilities and personalities. It is impressive as a parent to walk in and see so many happy faces that are learning and progressing into little people. As a parent I would not recommend any other school. This school is special and it is one you need to see or atleast check out, if you want your child in a well rounded educational, fun, and happy enivronment to grow in.

The language instruction exceeded my expectations. I would recommend DMS without question.
