We love the school - the curriculum is interesting and changes weekly, the teachers are engaging and administration is very communicative. We have been sending our kids here for 3 years and we've been happy (we've moved through the first three set of rooms, from infant to preschool). Just a note, the turnover in the past three years has been relatively minimal, including in the infant rooms - of the 6 teachers who were there in May 2009, 5 are still there. It is expensive though.

Amazing school. All the teachers and the administration are wonderful. My child is learning, while being well cared for.

My child really enjoys this school. He has made great friends. I only have experience with the 3 yr old room to the pre-K rooms and they have all been great. I like the art and science projects they do and he is learning his letters and a few words and is a great counter, up to 200 already. So he must be learning something there. I did find they were pretty strict with allowing super hero pretend play because it often involves fighting bad people and had to encourage pretend play of other characters. I personally have had no issues with the old director (Denise) or the new one. Because this is a community center the parents work all over and it is difficult to get parents involved, unlike some of the company sponsored Bright Horizons.

My child had a great time at this school. She had Ms. Sylvia who is one of the best, nicest, most nurturing teacher. She truly cares for the children, teaches them, makes them laugh, and put a LOT of time and effort into the activities she plans each day. Even though the school is play based, my child learned how to write, and learned a lot about nature, how things work, and art at this school. The school is well run by the director (Denise), but she lacks people skills and can be gruff with the parents. The hours here are great for working parents and the play area is spacious. They will reapply sunscreen on your child if you provide it.

Things we love... the teachers, feedback on child's day, live fish in fishtank, playground, arts and crafts, security and check in/check out Things we dislike... the administration! and the chemically pristine lawn and smell of bleach in rooms.

Most of the teachers are great. Managment is extremely inflexible, however, and is not customer oriented, despite the brochures. Management is disrespectul to parents. Think twice as this can be an extremely frustrating experience if you ever have an issue or make a request for help.

This is a 7:30-6:30 school with 6 rooms and about 20 teachers. Sun employees get a 10% discount and most parents are tech execs, esp. Apple. Lunches provided for a fee on Wed/Fri and gymnastics extra too. The school does an excellent job of bringing in academically enriching performers and keeping the kids occupied with curriculum that isn't tied to a specific theory like Montessori, etc. Some heavy turn over in the infant green and blue rooms. The 1-3yo 'purple' room is a highlight with excellent veteran teachers. Management is a tad strict and inflexible but that is understandable as the center nearly lost accreditation a few years back.
