This school has excellent teachers and caring staff. My child has learned to thrive here. They have structured activities as well as a lot of good outdoor supervised play!
The school doesn't live up to the YMCA philosophy not because it can't but because it has the worst administration that I have experiened since my child started preschool. There's no communicaton to the parents when a teacher is fired and a new one starts. It's very unfortunate because the children and teachers end up getting the short end of the stick as they say. The only teacher that demonstrates professionalism and what a good early development teacher should provide to their classroom environment is Ms. Jenny. If your child is 4-5 years old and in Ms. Jenny's class then they will be in good hands. In the last year the school went through 3 different program directors and I can't begin to count the number of teachers that quit or were fired. The administration of the Y is the worst I have witness in my whole experience with any organization.
