I highly recommend this school (cooperative) if you are a parent interested in being involved in your child's preschool experience. I have enjoyed observing my daughters develop skills for conflict resolution as well as establish friendships. The monthly meetings with a variety of speakers have provided a wealth of information few schools provide. The memories of children doing yoga or singing during music class are priceless and I can say I was there.
Enrolling our child at this "school" was one of the worst mistakes we have made so far as parents. It is little more than a day care free for all. Parents have an overabundance of menial tasks to perform on work days which prevents them from actually participating in their child's early education, which I was led to believe was the whole point of attending a co-op nursery school. Supervision is grossly inadaquate and the school grounds are of marginal safety. Mandatory meetings, weekend clean up days, and fundraisers will offset any financial savings you get as opposed to sending your child to a real preschool that will actually prepare them for kindergarten.
