My daughter started here the day after she turned 2. She is now 3 1/2 and I am constantly amazed by how her growing knowledge and independence. She comes home happy everyday and she adores her teachers so much that she kisses them goodnight on the school picture we taped on her bedroom wall.

My daughter loves all the teachers and the kids here. The kids are great because the parents are great. The environment is warm and welcoming to kids and parents alike. I love that it is clean and safe, I never have to worry about any serious playground injuries.

My child has been flourishing since she has attended Culver City Montessori Pre-School. The teachers are excellent and always keep me informed of her progress both academically and socially. The administration is also wonderful with handling any questions or needs by e-mail or phone promptly. My little girl loves going to school (so much that she sometimes does not want to leave), and that is the most important thing.

My 3 year old has been a student at Culver CIty Montessori for almost a year now. He has made great friends with not only other children, but of the teachers as well. The teachers are truly interested in the lives and livelihood of their children. They provide such loving care, while setting and adhering to behavioral boundaries. Each child is unique and fostered as such at CCM. I was initially hesitant on Montessori techniques but the director has put together such a healthy combination of Montessori and traditional technique that any child can succeed here in building educational as well as social skills. The learning plan is challenging for such inquisitive little minds and the patience of each teacher truly provides confidence in each child to accomplish it all. Every aspect of CCM is based on the child's individual readiness, providing such confidence- even our neighbors comment on what a confident boy we have- so important. Just upon walking into the school yard, it is easy to see what a happy place CCM is.

My son started at CCM 5 months ago at 2 years old. I toured 5 Montessori preschools in the area before choosing CCM. They are just the right size, have a wonderful facility, great teachers and a competitive price with extended hours (7am to 6pm). Each teacher has the perfect balance of love and compassion, yet knows when to put their foot down. Discipline was a concern of mine after my son was at a daycare where discipline was handled very poorly, if even handled at all, so CCM was very refreshing in that regard. There are so many great things to say about the school, but the most important aspect is director and the teachers. My son is always excited to go to school which speaks volumes on its own. Ms. Yazmin and Ms. Amanda continuously keep the parents up-to-date on the progress of their child and the activities they partake in every day. I was thoroughly impressed at my first parent/teacher conference to see just how well Ms. Amanda knows my son. There is a lot of truth in the saying it takes a village to raise a child which makes me so grateful to have found CCM. The staff gives us the support we need, provides a great education and they truly care for my son.

Though my son has only been attending this school for a couple of months, I know from previous experience that this school has it all. They have a dedicated staff, an involved director and an inviting space that encourages play and creativity. I've already seen my son grow and I look forward to his future development.

Just Fyi: My son (3 yrs) was here for 1 day. I picked him up after a 1/2 day, the director handed him over along with his belongings. She told me that "he wasn't montessori school material, some kids aren't". The reason, he was very disruptive and wouldn't take his nap (his 1st day of school). I realize the fault lies with *his* behavior, but I can't help feel this attitude flies in the face of Maria Montessori's philosophy. Montessori was given charge of a group she called 'defective children' (special needs, abused/neglected, and "wild and unruly street" kids) and brought them up to the level of 'normal' kids, and her method was born. My son is now at Shining Path Montessori. He reads, does math & is praised by his teachers, who were very patient with him. Its easy to look good if you kick out the hard ones.

My son has been at CCM for two years and 8 days come this Friday. He is graduating and I am sad to see his wonderful experience at CCM come to a close. I looked at a lot of preschools two years ago and as soon as I walked into CCM, everything about it and everything I saw struck me as just right and wonderful. The classrooms are bright and spotless with beautiful hardwood floors. The playgrounds are completely covered with that foam rubber material with beautifully shade trees, tall green hedges, and lots of interesting playground equipment for the children to run and swing and also conduct imaginary play. But, of course, it's the people that are the greatest asset. I will never be able to thank Ms. Yazmin for all she has done for our son. Our son has blossomed in every way and we are grateful.

How do we know that this school is great? It's easy! Now that she'll be Kindergarden this coming school year, we attended a lot of private school's orientations and tours around the schools including being able to see what their Kindergarden students are doing. Based on our observation, these activities are nothing compared to our daughter's homeworks for which she can do by herself (even teaching us sometimes how to do it or answer it). Her reading and math skills are well beyond what these Kindergarden students are doing and she's just 4. She really enjoys the extracurricular activities as well - dance class, gym class and summer's Friday wet day. Thanks to all the teachers and Ms. Jasmin for continiously nurturing our kids with best learning experience and good attitude too!!!
