Absolutely love this school and it's staff! Everyone is friendly and has excellent communication with the parents and the kids. My son has only been in the Preschool program 2 days a week but he looks forward to going and loves his teacher. Very pleased with their curriculum/program and the involvement of God in almost every lesson. Perfect balance of education/learning and fun!

I have been a teacher at First Baptist School for 12 years and have loved every minute of it. I also attended the school as a preschooler and a kindergartner and I remember the experience being one of learning, discovery, comfort and love. This is what I aim for as a teacher. Not only do we want to help your child grow cognitively, but also emotionally, socially, physically and spiritually. I want to give these kids I work with the same experience I had because it really set me up for success in my education. After attending preschool and kindergarten at First Baptist, I was able to enter 1st grade with social, emotional and academic confidence! We have 8 classrooms, serving children from age 2-Kinder. We have a variety of program options that will hopefully suit your needs for Early Education and/or childcare. We opened our doors 45 years ago and have been ACSI accredited since 2005. Please come by for a visit if you are interested in having your child attend preschool or Kindergarten!

My daughter has just begun her third year at First Baptist Preschool, and we absolutely love it. The staff here is dedicated, hardworking and caring. First Baptist offers a whole array of scheduling options. The price was excellent- the atmosphere was nurturing, safe, colorful, and very clean- they offer a dynamic and interesting curriculum. There is a good mix of attention on all aspects of development at this school. Strong academics, a terrific motor development program, arts and crafts. They offer optional programs like gymnastics, dance and sports. They have a cool and shady playground for the kids to get plenty of outside play time under the trees. Note- This school is faith based, and they do celebrate an active integration of Christian teachings into much of the fabric of the school and curriculum. I will say that I have found their approach to be inclusive, loving, and the discussions that they have at school have beget some beautiful conversations about what it is to be a good person for us at home. I wasn't sure about the religion at first (I myself am not Christian), but it has only brought out goodness and love in my daughter- so I am very cool with it :).

When I decided to have my daughter, I never knew how anxious I'd be upon her entering preschool. I checked out over 10 preschools and chose First Baptist. More than anything, what fueled by decision was First Baptist's understanding and commitment to child development principles and the role of motor development in a child's readiness for learning. This is a practice I have been committed to myself in my own work as an elementary school principal. My daughter has thrived under her teachers' love and attention. There is no greater gift to this single mama than the gift of not having to worry about my baby. My love, respect, and deep gratitude to First Baptist Preschool
